Tantus recently completed a Planning Study for the Alberta Community Safety Analytics Lab (ACSAL). The team worked collaboratively with stakeholders to examine a range of themes including environmental factors, existing analytics initiatives in other related jurisdictions, governance, corporate forms, academic and industry partnerships, technology practices and options, privacy and security, operating practices, staffing, funding and costs as well as associated risk factors. The analysis and associated findings were foundational in Tantus presenting a series of recommendations including a proposed model of the lab which would accommodate the needs of the policing agencies, AJSG and other stakeholders.

Tantus is proud to have worked with a diverse range of partners, including the Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) on of Canada’s first on-road commercial truck platooning systems trials project for Transport Canada.
