Tantus Sponsors 4th Annual Edmonton First Responders Rodeo

On July 15, 2023, Tantus proudly sponsored the Zebra Kid’s Corral at the Edmonton First Responders Rodeo which was held at the Kinsmen Rodeo Grounds in St. Albert. This was Tantus’ 4th year sponsoring this important event.

The purpose of the Edmonton First Responders Rodeo is to promote interaction between First Responders and the public they serve in a Western lifestyle environment, all while raising funds in support of First Responder PTSD and Child protection.

The beneficiaries of this event are the Zebra Child Protection Centre, which is an organization that specializes in working with children who are also dealing with some traumatic incidents in their world and Legacy Place Society, an organization that provides all First Responder and Military Personnel access to resources to build resiliency and reduce the stigma of mental health concerns as an individual and/or as a family.

Edmonton First Responders Rodeo included a full day of events for everyone, big and small from tiny contestants competing in mutton busting, to the bravest of our brave sitting at a table playing poker with a loose bull in the arena. With a kid’s area, food trucks, cold beverages and a barn dance to wrap up the day, this event was certainly a wonderful time in support of two great causes for all Tantus employees and their immediate family members.
