Tantus Solutions Group Inc. presented at the Corrections Technology Association’s 22nd Technology Summit in St. Louis, Missouri.
The CTA’s Technology Summit allows attendees to discuss key trends in the application of technology within corrections environments and provides an open forum for discussion, collaboration, and education to ensure the success of these technology initiatives that address agency objectives.
Our speakers Rav Bains, Director of the Programs and Policy Development unit for Community Corrections Branch, Bart Cooper, CEO of eHawk, Inc, Lyne Eaker, Managing Principal for Tantus’ Justice and Enforcement practice, and Chris Young, Tantus’ Lead Business Analyst for Corrections projects, shared their experiences and knowledge about how we help clients meld technology and business change to achieve more with less and the results achieved by implementing a mobile reporting solution for clients under community supervision.
Tantus’ presentation covered the results achieved by implementing a mobile reporting solution for low risk and pre-trial clients under community supervision. This presentation provided an overview of the business challenges being experienced by Alberta Correctional Services such as high caseload volume; the process that was followed to define success and how best to achieve the required goals; and the resulting technical implementation of a mobile reporting solution. The presentation concluded with an overview of the benefits realized, lessons learned and future MMU Expansion plans.
