MCSO and Tantus Continue Relationship

Tantus Solutions Group, Inc, a professional services firm, which among its practice areas specializes in Justice and Enforcement, announces that in August 2021 it finalized a Master Services Agreement with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) in Arizona, USA to provide operational supports and professional services related to their recent implementation of a new Jail Management System known as SHIELD.
The SHIELD Project achieved the following key objectives:
· Replaced functionality of existing “legacy” detention systems;
· Provided new and enhanced business functionality;
· Converted data from existing “legacy” databases;
· Successfully interfaced with other systems; and
· Operates on hardware and software environments that are supportable and maintainable.
SHIELD is the primary source of inmate information throughout MCSO, which includes eight facilities housing about 6,500 inmates on any given day.
